Hi Forum. Need a bit of advice please.

I have given a Penta 68cm to a friend, which he intends to motorise but we've lost one of the 90ml u-bolts and brackets that comes with it. I've uploaded a picture of the one that we do have.

Any idea where I could get a replacement?

They're pretty common in DIY stores in this part of the world.

You might get away with an exhaust pipe U-bracket from a car spares place

Last 68cm Penta i installed only came with one bolt as new. I thought it was strange until the second one was exactly the same. The larger Penta comes with two.

Anyone know a supplier which sells is sort of thing? We've had another look at the dish and it just doesn't feel right with only one u bolt on there.

Tried B and Q, Wickes etc but found nothing.

Try any garage, that fits exhausts, they might have something that will do the job.

The ones i put up four years ago with just the one u-bolt are still working fine and haven't need adjusting.

If you are desperate to get another it may be worth dropping an email to Fracarro. I have dealt with them many times in the past and have found them to be quite helpful.

Can't remember using a Penta 68, but certainly the Triax TD64 only uses a single U bolt and clamp.
