Listen Up Macrium Reflect Free downloads & updates may be ending

On p 20 of Computer Active Mag, issue 671, one of the questioners said that the free version would be closing at the end of this year (i.e. in 6 weeks time). After that it should continue to work but won't get any updates.

I haven't yet been able to verify that but it should be a heads-up for anyone using the free version.

Update:

In an effort to clarify the situation, I've just been in contact with Macrium Support, which confirmed that it will be withdrawn at the end of this year, but that the level of support thereafter seems to be undecided.

I got my license last month, it does not cost so much considering the great job it does.
Just configured the software to manage my backups exactly like Apple Time Machine. And it works great.
