Hi all

If not in right section can admin move to correct area.

Looking for someone in Medway, Kent area to change my LNB. Not confident enough to do it personally as if I get it wrong then missus loses her TV for a while and I do not have the right equipment to align LNB.

Currently have single LNB picking up skylink Slovakian channels. Looking to change to a monoblock with 4.3 degree so we can pick up Astra 1 as well. Can pick up block easy enough online but hoping someone local can fit for me. Willing to pay obviously.

What size dish - monoblocks only have correct separation for one size of dish so be careful which you purchase that it is correct for your dish - if none found for your dish then use an adjustable.

And when you have acquired a monoblock that fits the size of your dish: The dish is already focussed at 23E, so the focussing of the dish is already correct!
You only need to replace the LNB with the 23E LNB in the LNB-holder,
turn the monoblock to a specified angle (14 degrees to horizontal in rainham, kent; with 19E LNB lower than the 23E LNB, see SatLex Digital :: Technik :: Rechner :: WF Toroidal Rechner ),
and maybe shove the LNB a bit to or from the dish to test for a little bit improvement, and you're done!

would that be too hard?
