I'm looking for a new FTA/Analogue Receiver box as my old FTA box gave up.
I'm also looking for feedback on the quality of the reception from analogue channels on those boxes in comparison to that of the normal aerial in the attic.
I'm in the Republic of Ireland the fta channels from the box were good it made rte/tv3/tg4 look bad.

I've got half a dozen analogue receivers. Were used in a adult training centre to listen to German conversation by people learning German. Problem is I want to sell the lot in one go. Cannot be bothered to place on ebay where they do sell very easy. You could sell the remainder.
Would require collection. SE coast. Channel Tunnel area.
When you say 'new' I assume you don't mean new in the literal sense ?

Ebay is probably your best bet for finding an analogue receiver, or see this thread http://www.satellites.co.uk/satellite/analogue-systems/132910-eurosport-19e.html.

The picture from a good receiver should be similar in quality to an analogue terrestrial signal, but the picture quality on these now quite old receivers varies considerably.

Moving this to the analogue section, as it is not a digital system.

I hear that one! -- Popped over to see mum the other day, I'd just done my digital install,(19.2) then realised how bad mums picture really was! We thought that the analogue was great..

Mum, now time for a change!!!
