Howdy, i've spoken with a number of you on other forums in the past or on facebook, but never really came on this site.
So i'd like to introduce myself.
Im ren, and im proud to be a satellite enthusiast and a lover of news and politcs.
I'll take this opportunity to explain my set-up which will probably lead on to me asking questions at a future date.
In the house we have 2 satellite set ups, mine and the houses.
Mine consists of a fracaro penta 85cm which leads to the kitchen and my vantage combo receiver, I also have a strong srt8000 seca 2 receiver which im trying to get to work. i also have 2 other dishes and an assortment of lnb's located in the garage.
also leading into the vantage is by cable tied lnb for 19east which is attached to the sky dish.
The house set up is SKY HD+ in the living room, sky HD multiroom in the bedroom, + 1 sd receiver in the 2nd bedroom and a 2nd sd receiver waiting to to be installed into the 3rd bedroom but that requires 2 things, ( 1 a octo lnb & 2 my son to turn 7 as his sister had to be 7 before she got a tv) so thats 2 years away.
when it comes to the world of cams, keys, cards and encryption i know nothing!
