Hi all,

Ive connected my Sky+ Amstrad DRX180 box via an S-Video cable to my graphics card which is a Leadtek Winfast A380 Ultra MyVIVO. I can capture video but there is no sound. I am using the Winfast PVR software which came with the card. When i have looked in the configuration settings it is trying to capture the audio using my soundcard: Creative Audigy 2 ZS. So therefore it wont be able to capture the audio cos there is no input from the Sky boy going to the soundcard - only to the video card. But the only audio input I can select is from the sound card

So my question is how do I capture both audio and video from the SKY+ box?

Thanx in advance.

By the way I'm running XP with SP2 if that helps.

I can only help in general terms.

The S-Video cable only video signals, unlike a scart lead. I would suggest that you take the sound from the 2 phono sockets on the back of the DRX, you will probably need a double phono to 3.5mm plug cable to connect them to your computer sound card - assuming that it has a 3.5mm socket marked as "sound in" or simlar.
