Ive started using these offset lnb brackets when Im experimenting with trying to receive new satellite slots.

They are cheap, less than a tenner from ebay, and much more rigid than trying to use zip ties....offset.JPG

The metal is thin enough to bend it in towards the dish a little to get the right angle onto the dish face.

End to end is about 16 degrees on a 1.1m dish - yesterday I managed to get strong signals from 39E offset from the 55E lnb.

Another one is on my 21.5E dish and gives me excellent signals from 16E and reasonable signals from 26E Badr 4

I used these last year, they are very useful, the 2 lnb holder though has a slightly heftier metal slide which is a tad harder to bend . Its also not the same dimension as the 3 lnb slide. A real bargain, why didnt i start this thread in June 2012!!!

Yep, that's what I use as well, although the main LNB does need to be rock solid in the holder.

I've fitted three of those in the last eighteen months, very easy to use. The e-bay supplier I used stopped stocking them though.
On a 1.2m dish I fitted one either side of the centre lnb for a wider spread, can't remember what it was now though.

Once i'd used some of those lnbs holders a few times i found that the 8mm nut on the top pinch bolt would turn with the screw neccessitating the use of a spanner.

I use these too, and got a few spares for future projects. It's handy to be able to bend the bar a little to optimise signals.
