Well ..I finally completed my arc scan ..omitting 28.2 East ...
A total of 8542 channels ...in ku
You'd think I'd be happy ...but I am not completely so.
The TM is a nice receiver but has a limitation other than channel capacity which I wasn't expecting.
Carl is Vbox diseqc 1.2 driven but only reaches 50 degrees East with full dish face exposure ..but can be driven to 53E with a reduced output as is partially obscured.
Thus I then need to switch to Dick ..which is a usals driven TD88 to complete the arc to 68.5East.
Problem ..
The TM5402 cannot set motor control per satellite...
It's either / or ..
Vbox or Usals ...
Setting Usals sets all sat postions to usals ...therefore Carl cannot be moved ..
Setting Vbox sets all sat postions to diseqc 1.2 therefore Dick does not move..
It is possible to change this in the motor control menu as needed without affecting stored positions but is most inconvenient.
Unlike the F15 and the skybox/openbox..which DO allow a mixed motor control per satellite position.
Another reason why the F15 is the superior box imo.
You live and learn..
..but then I do like to push the envelope with my complex system of dishes .lnbs and switches.

VS, I ran into this same issue. You *can* mix and match motors on different satellites, but....this has to be configured from your ndf file editor and not from the receiver itself. I suspect it's a firmware bug ...

Cheers Alex ..
I've saved the whole E to W database -28E as an ndf ..so will export this and edit it for mix n match ...after I've had a little breakfast.
Thanks for the 'heads up' buddy..

Yep ...that sorted it CJ ..
Job done ...
Time for a play with the vertically offset C1PLL on Carl ..
Sufficient leafage gone from the TT ...to have another bash at 'spotting' Azerspace in C
I'm getting a fair few transponders in Ku on Carl ..so should have half a chance.
