Sir Richard Attenborough has died aged 90.

In a long career as an actor and director, I find it almost impossible to name his best films, but certainly as an actor, as a young tearaway and killer in 'Brighton Rock' and psychopath/murderer John Christie in '10 Rillington Place'.

Maybe as a director/actor, 'Gandhi' and director of 'Cry Freedom' and (pertinent now) 'Oh What A Lovely War'.
