Skype update Rumour ?

I'm not sure if this is true, but I've heard that the latest Skype upgrade will prevent the user from accessing video during PC to PC calls for free.

Can anybody confirm this ?

Have to say it wouldn't make a huge difference to me. An annoyance to be sure - especially as I've just put the Skype app on my newly acquired smartphone - but nothing more.

I wouldn't know i'm still using MSN messenger. Skype is a load of pish for instant messaging.

Its great for phone calls and video messaging, but a waste of time for instant messaging.

Our family all use Skype phones but they are voice only. I can see Facetime getting more popular if Skype start charging for video.

There's certainly an app on there for it already. Unfortunately it appears to be uninstallable.
