I have a question for you lots using PC DVB cards for satellite reception.

I'm getting a DVB-S2 card soon, I remember hearing a few years ago now about some software called HispaDVB (?) that allowed you to decode the Spanish TDT (Freeview) transmitter feeds on Hispasat. As far as I know they were clear but in a special Retevision format.

I believe these feeds still exist (on 11615H, 12671V and 11653H at least), but was wondering if anyone knows if you can still view them using suitable software and a PC DVB-S2 card? Is it still the HispaDVB software or has something else come along nowadays? I'm finding a surprising lack of info through Google!

Thanks.

Hi
I think the only way to receive it easily is by buying a tdtsat box, as Abertis (the company controlling tdt sat) probably change the viewing security often, but they are hard to come by and are only offered on some websites. I have one and got mine through tdtprofesional.eu, or alternatively, if you have access to a Spanish billing address, you can subscribe to canal+ (formally digital+) which broadcasts on hispasat, but I think it offers a wider selection of channels on 19e. Hope I helped!
