- 1.1m Triax dish, TM2300 motor. 2 x DM800HD, 1 DM500, 2 x Sly HD. 1 60cm fixed (Astra 2D).

I attached a USB disk to my DM800 and setup recordings. The timers work fine, however, I notice that during playback the Nabilosat "busy" icon appears a lot on the top left of the screen (you know the one with 3 square and a moving arrow?). I am wondering if this might be due to the read speed of the old USB driver. All it is is an IDE drive housed in a USB case, most likely USB 1.
Has anyone else experienced this? Would an external SATA drive speed things up or is this a problem with the DM itself?
