A new nice strong one on 53E - Tamadon TV 11172H 2500.

Sorry cant give the fec atm - its not displayed on my receiver, but its an exceptionally easy catch on the battered old 80cm dish I use for 53E -

on the SKybox F3 the signal is intensity 90%, quality 70% which is about the highest Ive seen on 53E.

Yemen Today on 11600V 2170 3/4

Salahaddin TV on 11524V 2170 3/4

Salahaddin is marginally the stronger of the two.

So far these are the only two tp's Ive managed to see - both are gettable on my 23.5E lnb!

Having done a bit of tinkering this afternoon Ive managed to get a signal lock on one solitary tp on 57E.


11181V 2590 3/4. This is the Asia TV frequency.

I can definitely improve things as atm the lnb is just a scaffy old one from the bottom of the parts bin which is zip-tied to the 53E AM-22 lnb!

The signal quality is dreadful - a heavily pixellated picture most of the time, but Im chuffed coz this is the first time Ive seen 57E

Sadly this is almost certainly as far round as I can go.

Badr 4 now added as a (ziptied) offset lnb on the 1m 21.5E dish. Strongest tp here seems to be 11958H 27500 3/4 (Al Manar)
