Technomate TM5402 en panne

Having said recently that my Technomate RX and motor had performed flawlessly, my RX now has a power supply fault. I spoke with Technomate in Edmonton (UK!) who said that if I sent my rx to them they couldn't courier it back to France! I should contact Defisat in Belguim. Well Defisat told me that they would have to send the rx to Technomate UK! So it would be more expensive.
I have emailed Technomate and am waiting for a reply with the details they need to accompany the rx. If necesssary I could ask relatives to pick up the rx from Edmonton after it is repaired. I have also asked Technomate if they could not send me a replacement power board. Any bright ideas in the meantime folks?

Very strange as a friend asked if he could have a power supply board and the cost would be £35 UK based of course and i am not sure if that includes postage.

Would it not be prudent to have relatives order the PSU then send onto yourself

you are right. But have now had a word with someone else at Technomate and they are sending me a power supply board.

There is one going begging ..
Gibertini has a BER box with a good psu ..he'll prolly sell the whole box of course..
Perhaps you should PM him ??

..Just noticed your in France ..so maybe just selling the psu would be a viable option..
I spose it depends on what Gibertini wants for it ..and whether He wants to split the box and post to France.
