Bizarrely, there has been nobbut a light breeze here, all day.
Always get the winds funneling down the back of my house when directly from the west ..
Got a lull in the last few minutes..
..but this may please you G ..
Ripped part of my bamboo wind chime down ..
The gusts were strong enough to break the monofilament fishing line I used ..

All quiet round here, looking on WunderMap though, we're in the "eye" of this slightly wet & windy spell... :-rofl2

It's a little bit gusty here still, but the sun's mostly out, when it can get around the clouds that are flying by at warp speed, bertha's last belch is petering out... :-lol

I had a lot of plans, this bank holiday weekend, especially in the garden, but also to tinker with my satellite dish, and it looked fantastic, last night, and early this morning, but for the past hour all it's done is rain, yet again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Summer, here, seemed to end in July, as since then it's been quite cold, wet, and windy.
Shame as it's also carnival day, and the 20/20 cricket finals, which Lancashire might win !!!!!!!!!!
What's it like in Birmingham?

Thanks >>> Just looked at my Met.Office Widget and it also says we are enduring a morning of bright sunshine: Moonshine, more like - I've just been out for a Mark One Eyeball recce and have come home drenched.

The rain finally seems to have stopped, here, but it's too cold, and not enough sun, to dry everything out, as I have clay soil, that needs digging up, plus it keeps clouding over, so probably more rain to come.
Hopefully the weather is better in the Midlands, and down south, for the cricket, and their carnival.

Sunny with some cloud here and a cool NW wind. I have a diseqc switch to fit, replacing the one which took off 28E while I was away. Lawn to mow (if it dries out). Dog food to buy. Carpet to lift on the landing in preparation of sanding and staining the floorboards. A leak in central heating system from the Rayburn and a leak from the shower to investigate.....oh and I might fit in watching F1 at some point.....

Sunny here today, but Monday is looking increasingly like a washout

Very dark now, and very heavy rain, I think we're in for rain all day, another wet carnival, which is a shame for the kids.
Must be better down south, as the women are playing cricket, and they're complaining of the sun reflecting off surfaces !!!!!!!

Been raining for the past hour, much like the entire weekend.
I have been unable to play, with my satellite dish, or to do any of the gardening work, as parts are, once again, under water.
Summer seems to get less each year, last year I at least had until the middle of September, before the constant rain, put half the garden under water.
Unless we get a freaky, warm, dry, September heat wave, I declare my Summer over, following yet another bank holiday wash out, but hopefully better luck next year.
