I am looking at buying a secondhand 1m channel master dish that was used for broadband.
Is the lnb used for broadband able to receive tv transnissions, The lnb has 2 cables coming from it.

The lnbf is KA band you will need a KU band lnb for normal transmissions. but the lnbf will be useful for soarsat as this service uses KA.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

If it's anything like the 1M Channel Master/Andrews satellite broadband dish I had, all you need to do is pull off the Transceiver assembly from the feedhorn and then bolt on a C120 Flange LNB of your choosing... :)

See the pics below, first is the appendage my dish had, and the 2nd is the same feedhorn but with a tiny little Inverto White Tech C120 LNB fitted, but you can use whatever C120 LNB you wish... :)

(Unfortunately I never got to use the dish due to landlord issues and security issues with kids using my yard at the time as a shortcut from back street to front street)
