Hello All
I'm new to this forum which I found whilst I was looking by looking for help on Intelsat 907. I figured that surely it can't be that hard to setup and connect as I managed to setup my own Enigma 2 box to work for S*y, how wrong was I? I didn't want to touch the 28.2 setup so I bought a 1 metre dish and managed to line up to 907 then ran a scan and got a list of channels. I created SoftCam.Key and constant.cw and plonked them into /var/keys as everyone said you should when using cccam.cfg and then nothing. So after a couple of days of searching for an answer I came across this site where everyone seems to be able to access the satellite. I could get a local guy to sell me another box and install a solution for me for a few hundred euros, but I just want to be able to do it myself and say I did that! Can anyone please spend a bit of their time to perhaps look over what I have done and point out to me where I have gone wrong? The beers would be on me ! I would like to use my MKDigital XP1000 or the VU Solo if possible.

To open those channels on an Enigma2 receiver you are going to have to use OpenPLI image and Oscam-Y-Mod for it to work, There is a massive thread over on the PLI forums about this and how to get it to work

Thanks for the info about the Oscam-Y-Mod, this is the first time I have come across this (whatever it may be), I shall dig deeper, that's half the fun of it. I've been reading some of the comments made on the "big challenge" thread on the OpenPLi forum, quite a bit of the seriously techie stuff is a bit beyond my skillset and after reading some of it you are left wondering what all of those words actually meant.
And I agree, just prior to the World Cup all will stop, it is the way of things.

I used biss keys with Premier League HD channel on 9e with orignal Oscam. I think u can use orginal oscam with configs from openpli

You could probably say that about every Cam emulator Going then, AFAIAA i have never had any problems with the Y mod version

Although i don't understand the reference to (attributes 775) and (attributes 664)??
and on my system i get down to oscam_ymod folder and that's it there is no sub folder oscam key.

look up chmod on wiki - its just setting of permissions on linux files.

Well i just surprised myself and changes permissions of oscam_ymod folder to 775 from 755 and created a folder inside that called oscam key with the 644 permission... LOL

So how do now put in the just paste it in the oscam.key folder??
in the oscam folder there is a file called oscam.key as well but this is just a file. how do i open this file or any of the others to look at and edit if need be??

Hi Kota. I've seen many helpful posts from you on a number of forums, may I ask if you are using Vix? I have tried Open PLi and BH but I always return to Vix and based on some of the comments I have read the suggestion is that the services from 907 are only available via Open PLi, though I seem to recall reading that you had managed to get it working on BH/Vix (I can't remember what you might have written). I would like to use Vix so would appreciate a heads up if you have managed to get it to work.

All the latest images based on openPli are OK for this as long as you install dvbsnoop once flashed, VIX included. Never managed to get it to work with Black Hole images so I gave up on them. At the moment I'm using openATV 4.0 which I honestly think is the best image around for the Solo2.

Also, installing oscam-ymod requires different methods for every given image even though they're all based on openPli so it's better to install it manually but you should know where each of its folders goes to.

The easiest way to get this going with minimum fuss is flashing openSpa 3.1 image. It's got everything you need from their own feed, configs included, almost like plug and play. The only snag is that the default language is Spanish but you can change that to English latter on.

EDIT: something I said is not correct. I did manage to make it work with BH but never been able to clear the HD channels AAC-HE sound.
