where is channel 33 dubai?

I think its on Nilesat 101w and or so.... because I do not know
the actual transponder allianment so its better to buy a Sattelite
Magazine available in London (I am sorry I have forget the name).

For ch33 go to 7west, 11785V, 27500, 3/4. Go to http://www.nilesat.com.eg/chanchannels.htmfor all the channels on the birds at 7west. You will not get any of the horizontal beam channels in the UK. You might not get many of the vertical beam channels. Best time for viewing is during a clear night.

CH33 on nilesat has been changed to "one tv".
if you search channels again, you won't find ch33 any more!

You are right there, "dog" shows "One" now. Did a re-scan and index of channels now comes up as "One TV".

Very good satellite to watch, I like the education channels, especially operations. Good films and cartoons also on the birds at 7west.

thanks for reply,i have got motorise system, and 1.10 dish but sometime i cant watch nielsat, i live in manchester, do you know why?

Nilesat is at best marginal in the uk. Theoretically we shouldn't be able to get it at all, but the sats are performing better than expected. All sat signals are absorbed to some degree by cloud cover / rainfall, So in the case of ultra marginal signals, any thick cloud cover will kill the signal. The sats also move around a little every day, not important when you are under the main footprint, but it can make the difference between pics and no pics for extreme fringe reception.

For better signals, you need a bigger dish.
