Use the patch sw of premiumx model 8000G. downloading procedure is same. it works fine for all channels. Moroever i found new model VX505 -- its very good & opens all channels & work as u-cas. Vx406 is patch FTA model available in the market.

Vivax 505; Just press the blue key on your remote and do whatever you want. The site deltasatuk (suggested by Analoguesat above) is indeed EXCELLENT but not accessible at the moment; probably they are upgrading. The software available is Sept.2005, Jan.2006 & Feb.2006. I have tried all but I think Sept. 2005 version was the best. The problem with the other software versions are numerous; most important of which is the failure of OFFICIAL smart cards to open the channels they are supposed to open even though you are PAYING for them!

Dear Friends,

I know, this is an OLD receiver.
VIVAX - 500A

My problem is,
Its having a Card reader, but i feel its not detecting by the receiver. I used so many method, but not working.

My receiver is VX-500A but in System Information it showing as VX-400A.
and also showing - Gold card not installed.

Do have any idea about my matter.

Because i red about this receiver and many places people said, it has the Key editing feature also. But nothing about in my Menu.

bought this with so many bright ideas, but now i am .Please help me to sort out my problem. I
