Advice Needed DVB-S2X & Multistream TBS Sat Card

My old Tbs 6983 card will not see any dvb-s2x transponders as the card is not compatible.

The 6522 card will do dvb-s2x but not Multistream, from what little spec I can find.

Do tbs make a newer model card that will do dvbs2x and Multistream (ideally a professional card)

As this new card I hope to replace the 6983.

The specs for the 6903 says it does multistreams, but does not mention S2X.
Re the multistreams, I must admit I haven't tried this yet.

I've got the TBS 6522 - can confirm that it copes with S2X on 33E and multistream (on 5W, 12.5W, 5E, 39E). Haven't succeeded in getting T2-MI signals to work (though admittedly I haven't tried much). Handy to have four inputs - you change tuner mode between S2/T2 via software.

TBS6522 card lock signal and memorizes the MIS channels at 5.0 W with both Crazyscan and dvbs players(DVB Dream,SmartDVB,etc).

Looks like all I need to do is swap the cards over.

Yes that’s what I was really after, as I want the card a a dvbs2x replacement for my 6983.

The 6908 might just be what I need if I can find it a tad cheaper.

Strange question Silabs demods support broadcast profile for DVB-S2X, limited VCM suppor. At least DTT DVB-S2 8PSK multistreams supported + PLS code change.

Yes, at least....
Certainly at this point there is no card that supports all modes for DXers. STV09X demods support full VCM but not DVB-S2X, Silabs the opposite. At this point you need two different cards/tuners for everything.

BTW can anyone check the Asturias mux on 30W 11496H with either TBS 6522 or 5922? This package was highly problematic with Silabs demods and now seems to have stopped? I get no lock anymore!

No lock on TBS5520E (SiLabs) but fine on TBS6983 using root, gold or combo

Just as I suspected, they must have changed to VCM.

Combo is "fake" from STm So must be removed from all GUI's This some like Gold, but read-out PLS registers give Root code Anyway Silabs demod require Root PLS code and need simple calculation from Gold->Root (implemented in V4L DVB drivers).

P.S. I think 8PSK,8/9 some problematic for Silabs demods Need access to real signal and contact with Silabs support.

This frequency used to work until recently but had a constant periodic lock loss. It looked like the signal was getting lost the second the modulation/parameters were changing to a combination Silabs could not read and get back once the combination was detectable. Since STV090x can handle all these combinations we see stable signals with these cards.
I cannot use my TBS 5925 ftm to see what has changed exactly, but certainly it's something Silabs cannot handle, at least currently, so if anyone can inform us, be my guests!
In comparison the CLM package on 11491V with also 8/9 FEC is always stable.

Seems to be working fine here with TBS5925, also locks fine on Octagon SF4008 (which I think uses Silabs tuners), albeit with some picture break-up, which is a known issue on this mux with these tuners.
