Agree. Consumer receivers are not the best choice for 24/7 operations.
I suggest you to look in the professional market. Yes the devices are much more expensive, but you would install very reliable receivers and devices.

It does not seem an LNB issue. As just mentioned above, 0.3 or 0.1 is not so different, especially with a so large dish.
