Just to say the dish has arrived and has been installed. I am very happy with the dish which works brilliantly. Everything was clearly packed and labeled and Moonbase kept me updated with delivery times dates etc.

Good news I am now locked on and getting a decent signal........Except when its cloudy.
Blue sky ....strong signal
Cloudy sky .... nothing
With this in mind if I upgraded to a bigger dish 2.3 M from the current 1.8 M would this solve my problem?
A friend has suggested that it is possible the dish has a small dent somewhere, and perhaps I am only picking up the signal when it is at its strongest? Thoughts?

I am currently picking up a strong signal from this satellite BUT.... I can only seem to pick it up between 11am - 5pm each day. (this week anyway)

So I have located this sat and lost it again several times for no apparent reason?? I can be getting a strong signal one minute and nothing the next.
All very frustrating.
With this in mind is it possible to use 2 satellite dishes at the same time both pointed at the same satellite and somehow...

Struggling to get any signal at all today. Ive been out tweaking the dish with my meter but just cant find a thing.
There is a large band of heavy rain moving across the Midlands today would that be the reason? If so does that mean every time it rains you might lose your signal?
I Finally managed to complete this today.
I do not think that I fully appreciated the precision involved and required. I guess I sort of hoped to move the dish around in the general direction and get lucky but that ended up being a wasted day.
