Apologies, my mistake. On a Technomate box, for example, Video is H264 and Audio MPEG2. Also, if you have scanned the channels you need to delete them and add the video, audio and PID SID etc settings manually.
It was launched in Feb 2003 with an expected lifespan of 13 years so maybe they will just wait until they have another Satellite to put it on, maybe one with a more focused UK beam?
Ah yes, Spanish paperwork. :) We will hopefully be retiring to Fuerteventura in a few years so I'll have to get used to the fact that you can't have things NOW.
At least IGIC (VAT) is only 7% in the Canaries. :-biglaugh
According to this http://spaceflightnow.com/2014/12/28/successful-proton-launch-puts-astra-2g-broadcast-satellite-in-orbit/ it may still be doing it's 'place saving' for Luxembourg before it goes into test/service.
It looks like the beeb may be taking it a bit more seriously now. It was usually around 4 months between changes, but this time it has only been 2 months. Lets see how long it takes for the code to become available this time. :-buttkick
Are you sure you've not got water in your works somewhere after the storms? With a 1.2m and IBU in Caleta we can get 2F Europe as well as the ITV2, 3 and 4HD when they were on 2A North. All with decent signal strengths.
I am over in a couple of weeks so will check them out.
Sacking Sky off...
It won't work with that box I'm afraid. The easiest and best boxes to use are the Technomates, TM5402 HD or TM F3/5 HD, the latter is slightly cheaper at around £99.
You would need to 'patch' the box first with Phantompatch and then have a read of the thread I have sent you via PM (Conversation) ;)
