the reason why 1 is white is because that cable runs along the top of my house and the top of wall is white, change the bedroom cable today and all is now good, no sign if brake or cracks in old cable so must be water ingrese.

all 3 cables where fitted at the same time, and all worked well until this problem started with bedroom box, a mate (who works for sky) has given me a roll of cable so going to change the bedroom one and see where it goes from there.

yes i am sure as my bedroom cable feed is white and the other 2 rooms are black cable feed,

i have 3 freesat box`s 1 freesat HD box in front room 1 freesat box in backroom 1 freesat box in bedroom all 3 have their own cable feed direct from dish (fitted with quad lnb) there are no splitters at all the HD freesat and backroom freesat box`s work fine with no channel lose what so ever.

the problem stayed with the room.

done a reinstall, on re install box says signal strength is 90% and loads 190+ channels but i still get no signal on channels.

The following channels say no signal, bbc 1 bbc 2 itv channel 4 channel 5 bbc four bbc alba itv +1 itv 2+1 itv 4+1 more4 +1 channel5 + 1 5 usa 5 usa +1 5* channel 5 +24 BET BET +1 more>movies PICK challenge viva travel channel sky news and alot more

Yes i moved my backroom receiver (which is getting all channels) and swapped it for my bedroom receiver (which was only getting some channels) but still the same. cheers karl.

Ok, i have changed the cables round on the LNB but still the same, so i am now thinking fault in cable,
