I used http://www.dishpointer.com/ and I aimed at 157 deg, and then adjusted it to maximise the signal strength. But at no point have I got more than zero signal quality. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the great help. I've just checked, and the arm has a slight kink in it that points it (how it was fitted) downwards to about a quarter of the way up. So tomorrow I will try to fit it the other way round and hopefully it then points at the middle of the dish. I'll post a photo of it...

How about this ....? We eventually wanted to cut down the big fir tree which is at the moment behind the dish. Then we could move the dish back a few meters to get a better angle over the cherry tree. We can also trim the top branches of the tree, but doing that alone wouldn't give me...

We've cut down quite a few trees but this Cherry is the one we wanted to keep. I think our fitters need to choose a better position for the dish. Thanks for the advice guys.
