The last time I played with anything like this was back in Dreambox days, so I am little behind with this sort of stuff. I asked about an F3 box a while ago, just wondered if anything has changed? What channels can I get on this box, other than FTA? Been down the kodi route on a Firestick.

Someone is selling an Skybox F3 for £40, are they worth getting? I use to use a Dreambox 500, back in the day :). Can you use your official Sky card in these boxes? Was hoping to record programs and play on PC or even connect Skybox to my HD capture device via Component.

I avoided calling Sky until tonight as the message keeps popping up and driving us mad! Within 5 minutes it was sorted!, the guy said your new box will should with you within 5 days. I asked him why they were giving me a new box for nothing, he said the Thompson boxes are very old not reliable...

Thanks for the warning! I purchased a reconditioned PSU about 3 months ago, I was told it had high quality capacitors so hopefully it will last a while. Can you recommend any HDD's that are suitable for the Thomson boxes? I have read that the box can be picky! Also does the less RPM mean it...
