Slightly OT, I noticed last week that BFBS (the UK equivalent of AFN) now show some Sky programming. The most interesting (to me anyway!) was the fact they show The Daily Show - even on their Navy service. I'd be surprised if AFN show that! ;o) ...EDIT - AFN *do* show it, well I never!

Llew, that site drops support of many boxes quite quickly. I've had a Lifetime Diamond and a couple of Ultimates and once anything other than a simple key change happens the box becomes next to useless (the only saving grace of these Fortecs IMHO is the "free" channels while they last)

I could go and find the evidence for you, but then you could find it yourself. I already know what the situation is and I don't believe it's changed recently. ;) Also, there's an anti-licence forum out there that has some clued up members (some are a little scary though!)

That is definately fact. There's absolutely no legal requirement for a licence if a TV isn't being used to watch TV broadcasts. The evidence should be somewhere on TVL's website (although they might've buried it somewhere deep inside!)
