I am on the east side of the island. On my 80cm i get 1m widebeam easy and some 1h transponders just. 1h might be different in Limassol All the rest require bigger dish Regards

Hi Mobutu I receive a 60% signal at the eastern end of cyprus with my motorised 80cm and 0.2 lnb The threshold on my receiver is 66% I reckon a 1m or 1.2m would be ok Regards Uk2cyp

Astra 1G is now at 31.5E and has east and west beam Is 2C going back to its original beam if it goes to 28E?

Just remembered Astra 3b is launched tomorrow for 23e.The widebeam is quite impressive and covers israel with a small dish so a dish upgrade might not be necessary.I think everything off 1g will go onto the widebeam of 3b.

Hi For the different beams in my location in the east you need 1M widebeam 80cm 1M european ? 1kR and 1L 1.4m/1.6m 1H 1m/1.2m for some frequencies other frequencies not quite sure probably 2m+ Most Digital+ channels are on 1KR. Maybe in your region you can use less than 1.4m for that Regards...
