Agreed, the Ariannebroadcasts are better as they show all the info needed. Looks like they will be wrapping up shortly.
He's gotta be wearing the bow tie as a bet. He's no chance with his co-host in that outfit !
I haven't got that option with the tv card, it scans the FEC's automatically but have to input the symbol rate. Frustrating to say the least. If all else fails, I 'may' be able to view on the web feed. I'll try Friday aft and remotely access the pc and re-scan.
Yep, all confirmed for Friday night. Annoyingly my sat receiver downstairs still has the 'Astra 1N Launch' channel on there with the Astra holiding card on there since the failed launch.
When searching on the sat card on the pc upstairs, it's not finding the channel at that frequency. I'm not...
I am ghost yeah. I got a motorised dish installed a few weeks ago by 'Satelliteman' and waiting for the Spiderbox to come which is in short supply. So I've had to rely on my retired Pace box. It isn't great and was a pain in the ass to set up for a motorised set up, as it crashes frequently...
Yes I've caught this channel a few times over the last few days. Overall the PQ is very good, and as your screen grabs show, some excellent music videos. Well for the lads anyway ;-)
Did anyone catch this at all on Euronews. I only spotted the post by Pete 'after' the event. Oddly enough though, I was flicking through one of the French channels and saw him being interviewed and never thought anything of the evening concert. D'oh !
I haven't used Newsgroups for a while, but when I did they were really easy to use, and to be fair probably one of the safest means of downloading files. Of course virus checker needed to be there to check the downloaded files.
Yep, spotted your comment via Facebook, we need to organise a trip to Betzdorf and pay them a visit. I have always wanted to visit, but can't see them doing tours for members of the public.
A shame that SES can't have a channel on @ 28e seen as the satellite will be used there. Don't they realise people in the UK don't always have a mult-sat setup? Still, I'll be sat watching that, and with the joys of multisat FOC boxing on RTL Sat night.
For those interested, the launch is due this Friday around 10:30. You can watch on 11023H 22.00 5/6. Not sure when the actual broadcast begins. For those that can't watch at 19.2e you can visit _www.videocorner.tv/index.htm
When did you start to use satellites?
Around June 1989. Astra 1a had only been up and running for a few months. Not a great selection at the time. Purchased from Colorvision in Oldham and had to wait 6 weeks due to demand and cost best part of £280 for the Amstrad Fidelity SRX100. This was the...
I showed the missus last night - instantly she laughed.
I'd be more concerned about what the neighbours would say and sure someone would come knocking on my door once that bad boy was in operation.
