After more than 3 weeks of real summer we finally got lots of water and it come with nice storm. Actually was pretty scary. Video1 and video2. Fortunately no damage, all antennas survived, just some broken trees all around and thunderbolt burned somebodies hothouse.

. One faling branch of the oak almost broke my hothouse.
Could not get stable picture from satellites during heavy rain, just terrestrial TV showed some.
Afterwards couple of rainbows appeared. I think, my experimental Prodo looks good (perhaps needs some washing) with those rainbows behind.

This is an interesting plant; it's from Asia datura / metel. It only has one or two flowers per day. These open at dusk and are finished at dawn. The smell is intoxicating. We grown this for the large night moths and bats. The blooms are six inches (150mm) across. It's still a bit early for the moths and bats but will try and take a pic when they come.(plus it keeps raining!!)

keep deadheading (cut faded flowers off ) and they will carry on flowering but smaller
