I can see it's there (spectrum bump, dB reading every now and then).
But 11418 V 30000 3/4 8PSK will need 8 dB to lock.

On 60° East 11555 H was already an identical Otau TV mux, in total 3 such transponders.

No chance here so far. I´ve been more than 30 min at 58.5E and now 3 times veeery little signal drop by (125cm Gibby). So at least 150 offset or 180 pf minimum here to pick up even real signal and sure bigger to lock.

And NO, I am not stand and wait fifteen minutes with camera to take a picture from that slight signal on screen:blink::lol:

Surprising as Finland isn't that far off the official footprint. I'd suggest it's on the steerable beam but people all over Russia and eastern Eastern Europe are getting signals, so it'll be on the wide one.

Oh well, move it 20-30 degrees west-wards and Europe will have a chance.

Yeah that's the other beam, though it's not very informative on Sat Beams

What does that convert to in dB-ish?

Sorry, dont know how to convert to dB-ish on TM f3/5. So newbie still with that reciever. Maybe 4-6 dB but only about 2 sec at a time and then again back within few minutes and again only 2 sec signal and so on...

I've tested the signal on 11418 V with 1.50 m dish;just about 4 dB.It will be difficult to receive stable signal in DVB-S2 with antennas of 1.9m in my area,in the best case, even though signal tests made this summer seemed promising! At least let's hope that we're picking transponders with the signal in dvb-s(qpsk).

Dear CERIN,

Wow, what a strong signal! It seems to me that you are right in the center of the spot,or you have a big dish.
Anyway I thank you for checking this frequency.Actually you have confirmed what I thought, that is a generic stream.
With my small dish,I only see the target, and those like you, with big antennas, will hunt for it.I would say,it is a tacit collaboration between us without knowing each other. This is the beautiful part with these forums, such as this one. I hope to read your name more often here or on other dxers forums.
You have all my esteem for that :)
