Complex set-up help please

Hello folks!

I'm new here and know very little about sat set-up etc. But I am hoping to achieve quite an ambitious set-up in my office and would love some help if possible please.

I run a company which suppliers products to TV shopping channels around the world. It's vital that I monitor shopping channels around the world to keep on top of trends etc.

So here's what I would like to have:

- 6 TVs in my office monitoring channels from across the world
- 4 of these channels will be european (German & Italian) and 2 UK channels
- I would like to be able to record these channels constantly to a hard drive of some sort which allows easy playback via PC, across a network (so several of my staff can play back the recordings)

So, my questions are as follows, if you wouldn't mind:

1. What set-up would you recommend for the above requirement?
2. I assume it's possible to get satellite, unencrypted channels from Italy and Germany quite easily in the UK?
3. What's the best option for constant recording (perhaps with seven day cycle or something) across 6 channels with network playback?

One good offset 1,8m antenna with 4 Octo LNBs on it. 8 x 1/4 Diseqcs. 6 receivers, two of them with twin tuners and 1TB hard drives in. All receivers connected to local network, so every receiver can access both hard drives and playback any recorded clips. Hard drives also can be assessable from any PC in local network, and, if needed, also from web.

Where are you based? If in UK (sorry, can't see your profile on my phone) then an 80cm dish will be fine. Needs 3 LNBs, one for 28e (uk channels), one for 19e (German channels) and one for 13e (Italian channels). Can't really advise on recording/playback bit but Rimant's suggestion sounds doable.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a sat receiver which can be connected to a LAN for streaming of recorded material back to PCs on the network? Thanks!

Any new HD Enigma2 receiver can be connected to LAN and record to internal, external or network hard drive.
For example Giga Blue HD Quad, VU+ and many many others in price range from ~100EUR till ~1000 EUR.
I think, for you would be better to find some local specialist or company and ask them to install your system.
Agree with CJ: 1,8m antenna is probably too much, however..... in this case bigger is always better.
