I've bought the card(hotbird) for Aljazeera sport +1+2+3 and+4. Can I watch with the same card the new channels +5+6+7 and +8.

As far as I understand not unless you pay extra money for a card upgrade.

This card is simply magic: 120/130 euro to watch everything for 1 year and 7 months (except for the Premier League... at the moment...).
Only one question: does anybody know anything about JSC Sports +9 and +10 channels? Is it just a rumor?

There are 2 JSC test channels on 13E so its possible

really? on what TP? I've already done a search on its frequency but nothing appears:-(
I really hope one of them is in HD just like on Nilesat

The other one must be a kind of ALL NEWS SPORT especially for the C.League pre-matches.

What is your opinion about?

that's strange...I don't even get them...I will try a blind scan

PS But those (rich) Arabs could at least improve the bit-rate for the SD channels...sometimes I see squares on my LCD

They are both still there - Ive just deleted them rescanned and they reappeared.

that's even more strange...I asked a friend of mine and he got them since last month but I asked him to delete them and re-scan ...well now he can't get them either

same here, just purchased an al jazeera card with upgrade (awaiting delivery) and my TM1500 will not find any of the JSC sports channels on 11296 27500. I have reset and done a few blind scans and advanced scans but no finding anything?!

I've read about the 8 channels and the poor image quality on 13^est: it is due to the fact they are too close to each other so we will never get the HD channel (too much band)

@Bez: how much did you pay for the card? and for the upgrade? Be aware that it might take lots days before you get the signal for upgrading the card.

the card should be here tomorrow, so i wanted to get the channels added in preparation.
paid £150 inc delivery for the full package, if i cant get the channels will have to sell it on

I have found a few other posts on sites with people having the same problem but most have ended up dead threads. Decided to change from Polsat to JSC this season, was cheaper and english commentary, at this rate i will get nothing.
not sure if you need a fw update or something or a fault with my TM?

search type is ALL and Network Search is OFF when doing an Auto navigation blind search.

Thanks for the info about the price...in any case, as soon as you insert the card the first 4 works immediately...the problem might accour with the others 4.

well I tried again this morning and the signal has changed from last night, in a bad way, now showing strength of 80% and quality is 20%! looks like this is my problem? on checking other transponders, this seems to be the only one i have quality problems with. the rest all stay around 65%. Is there anything that I can do with my equipment to improve this? I always thought that the size of disk I had was fine? as I said i only had problems when really bad weather and yesterday was clear (for a change) skies.

Hi Lauro. after the scan last night, when i had a good signal, i checked for channels using the A-Z feature. No new Al Jazeera and no JSC sports

probably you lost the alignment already yday night. Please check it again.

After, go to manual scan, insert the frequency and leave the rest on OFF and scan it again...

will give it another bash tonight and see what I get. just have that feeling now that it wont work.fingers crossed. also its a fixed dish.

Sorry if this is obvious but are you sure those channels aren't already saved. For example if you have 2000 channels already saved with those channels hidden amongst them, when you do a new scan they will not appear as new channels at the end of the channel list.
