I tried an update, but it said 'No Update Available'.
I thought i'd try something else, I deleted that transponder, turned the power off for a few minutes and then set up the transponder manually (inserting my own PID settings). It found the CNN feed with sound and stored it as it should.
I noticed in the manual it said to cut power and restart after an update so it gave me a slightly different way of doing it , as I had tried to store it manually before but didn't cut the power.
Apart from this one incident I haven't had any trouble at all from my Comag. It only cost £49.99 from Lidl and I have had a great deal of fun with it, it was worth every penny. It does help having a website like this, full of people offering advice.
Thanks for your help, it didn't solve it, but it pointed me in the right direction.
Regards
Glyn.
