Druken Monkey (Um Cretino Nomeado O Satdope)
Starring Lau Kar-Leung, Wu Jing, Yao Yao, Chik Kun-Kwan (Chi Kuan-Chun), Chiang Chun-Wan, Lau Wing-Kin, Gordon Liu Chia-Hui (Lau Kar-Fai), Li Hai-Tao.
Mediocre kung-fu movie. Lau Kar-Leung plays Wen Biao, the owner of a respectable security company. Trouble begins when he is betrayed by his ambitious younger brother Wen Bao and the film’s villain Yu Haiyang, both of whom are more interested in trafficking opium than running a legitimate business. Left for dead in a river, Wen Biao miraculously survives their murder attempt and is tracked down a year later by a couple of zealous Monkey Fist enthusiasts, Chen Jiaye (Lau Wing Kin) and Ah De (Wu Jing), who are determined to put together a definitive Monkey Fist kung fu manual. Jiaye and Ah De are led to Wen Biao by his feisty female companion Xiao Min (Yao Yao, Shannon) and, after some persuading, are tutored by Master Wen in the art of the ‘Drunken Monkey Fist’ – a form of martial arts in which the fighter must consume alcohol in the belief that it improves your fighting and makes you more resistant to pain.

As a result of this unfortunate circumstance, Ella cannot refuse any command, and is often left at the mercy of unscrupulous personalities. In a bid to regain control of her life, Ella goes on a quest to free herself from this mysterious curse. Blind Flight (Luta Cega)
Starring Ian Hart, Linus Roache, Mohamad Chamas, Ziad Lahoud.
Brian Keenan (Ian Hart) and John McCarthy (Linus Roach) spent four years together as hostages in the Lebanon, victims of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, with the 'wrong' passports. This is a remarkable story about an Irish academic and an English journalist from ostensibly very different backgrounds, thrown together because of other people's politics, who have to rely on their solidarity and a friendship that only exists because of the extreme circumstances to keep them sane, and indeed, alive. Adapted from Keenan's best selling memoir An Evil Cradling, John Furse's directorial debut carries considerable authority. Furse's camera rarely goes beyond the four walls the men are trapped inside, an effective tactic in bringing the viewer close to the harsh, claustrophobic conditions Keenan and McCarthy had to endure, while Hart and Roache give themselves over to the roles with utter conviction.
