If the guy has the capital to start such a venture - why not? Aren't we supposed to be living in multi-channel world that encourages such entrepreneurship?
I'll assume with a high chance of probability that most Germans working in England have German TV (its
really FreeTV BTW ;-) and I don't believe the city has fallen apart yet: so what's the problem?
Why flame immigrants who might want to watch their own stuff if they have the dosh to pay for it. It is, afterall, only TV.
Besides the yanks already have an 'AYE-RAB' TV station (probably dishing out Disney Orlando commercials and Jay Leno) and the BBC (courtesy of Home Office funding) are gonna dish out the same next year with TV that will, purportedly, give a 'muslim view of the western world from a westerned muslim perspective' (juggle the words around until something makes sense).
