A drive to recruit more blood donors in Colorado has been launched with an unusual incentive - a free pint of beer for a pint of blood.
Four local breweries are supporting the promotion by the United Blood Services of Durango.
Workers at the blood bank also got into the spirit of the season, by dressing in Halloween costumes including vampires.
Brewers were competing to see which could collect the most blood.
The owner of the brewery collecting the lowest amount gets a special booby prize - hair dyed blood red. |
