If you mean close down SD and move everyone to HD, no I don't think so.
Analogue was closed down because they could squeeze more digital channels into a single transponder, thereby making more money from the channel operators.
$ly HD is a premium service where they hope to make money by charging the punters more. In order to charge more they have to have a standard service to compare against.
Maybe in the future they'll close SD down, say about 10 or more years?
