Very sad to hear the news, Peter used to visit a bar I managed back in the 90s, got to know him quite well, a lovely guy with a great sense of humour. It used to be an in joke that when he arrived I would shout, "Look, it's Ossie the famous footballer . . . . . .. . . . . .and what would you like to drink today Mr Ardiles?"
He was good natured enough to laugh every time.
Very sad to see him die so young, a real gentleman.
