I am back with the same problem.I am not able to load my receiver with new software.This is what I do.
1-I download the software.
2-I open it with Winzip.
3-The software is split in two( one is 6500 po and the other is P2S
4-I connect receiver with cable(cable is right one with 2 and 3 crossed)
5-I click on P2S,I get save Channel and Firmware.
6-The computer asks me save where,I select My Documents.
7-I click on save.
8-The computer shows me the progress of saving in blocks(my receiver is standby at this stage)
9-The saving is complte I get Success,I click O.K
10-Display(front of my receiver changes) goes back to standby mode.
11-When I switch on my receiver There is no change in previous data nor the channels like discover,multivision remain blocked.

where am I doing wrong.
Help wanted
