My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

I have heard of several people experiencing similar problems, but not always due to the Skystar, some of these USB modems draw too much power and if you have other USB devices connected can malfunction. The easiest (yet more expensive) way around this is to get yourself a modem/router and connect via ethernet port, this would of course also make life easier for connection of other PCs/Dreambox/IP Phone to the network.
