I tried a scan of Amos 4W today, and it didn't want to know

No signal / quality level, therefore no channels found. Strange, because on my Triple Dragon I can find 90+ TV channels using the same setup (4 -port Diseqc switch, Port 'A' for my main dish. Astra 28E is on the same port, no problems there).

I would expect to see at least 60/60% strength/quality, as with my TD.The tuner would have to be dead to get zero readings!

Which leads me to the conclusion that there must be a software issue here that is preventing the Humax from recognising this satellite ??

Would appreciate if anyone could confirm if they have any problem with Amos ( or any other satellite with a weak footprint in your area).

On 28.2šE, I can get my "weak" signal from channel Five w/ no problem. The others are all strong signals. The other HD channels(here we go HD again) on 19.2šE FV+B beam(fringe area for me), I do get some breakups at nightfall, but o.k. during the day. I can try fiddling w/ my Technisat 33 dish & try another sat w/ a weak signal I give some feedback Llew. Good viewpiont on trying other birds.
