The older Stong badged Samsung receivers had a button on the board (SRT4000)
All this would do would 'soft ' reset the receiver to its starting state by resetting the data stream (before the days of reliable watchdog firmware)
Unless the receiver is a clone of something else thats a bit more popular, it looks like the button is your best bet for now, once thats pressed you can try a search on Google before you start looking at desoldering a chip and almost certainly knackering the motherboard |
