15.00pm Hellzapoppin (U) 1941

A poor boy tries to improve his romantic chances with a rich girl by staging a musical revue. Madcap musical comedy, starring Ole Olsen, Chic Johnson and Hugh Herbert

16.45pm Porco Rosso (U) 1992

A World War One flying ace, in the unlikely form of a pig, spends his time battling airborne bandits. However, his daring deeds look set to come to an abrupt end when a dashing rival attempts to ground the plucky porker — permanently. Animated adventure, directed by Hayao Miyazaki, with the voices of Michael Keaton, Cary Elwes and Kimberly Williams. Dubbed in English (888)

18.45pm Tea with Mussolini (PG) 1999

A group of eccentric and outspoken women living in Florence during the tense pre-war years of the 1930s experience the ups and downs of parenthood when they decide to adopt a local lad disowned by his father. However, as international hostilities break out, their happy existence comes under threat. Lush drama, bolstered by a host of colourful and well-sketched characters, perfectly played by Maggie Smith, Judi Dench, Joan Plowright, Cher and Lily Tomlin (888)

21.00pm Along Came a Spider (15) 2001

The daughter of a senator is kidnapped from her expensive private school, sparking a desperate race to hunt down her psychotic and devilishly intelligent captor before it's too late. Luckily, grizzled police psychologist Alex Cross (Morgan Freeman) is on hand to match wits with the villain. Nail-biting thriller based on James Patterson's best-selling page-turner, starring Monica Potter, Michael Wincott, Dylan Baker and Penelope Ann Miller (888)

23.00pm The Football Factory (18) 2004

Powerful and brutal documentary-style drama following a soccer fan immersed in a violent counter-culture, who begins questioning his actions when he's plagued by nightmares. Danny Dyer, Frank Harper and Neil Maskell star

00.45am Ed Gein (15) 2000

Unimpressive biopic of the eponymous mass murderer and cannibal. Gein shared his isolated home with his overbearing, religious mother, but her death sent him on a frenzied series of killings which horrified Fifties Wisconsin — and went on to inspire films such as Psycho and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Sadly, the graphic nature of those films means there's little here that'll shock. Steve Railsback, Carrie Snodgress and Ryan Thomas star (888)
