I also use eweido. The free version deosn't check as it goes, you have to make it do a scan. However, there's various scan levels, for "complete" just start it before going to bed ..... and the updates are free.
Also ......... did anyone mention Winpatrol? Not a "scanner", but helps stop unwanted intrusions, especially web programmes installing themselves without your knowlege (downloadale from several freeware sites).
Also .... i have Norton Antivirus, and instead of paying Symmartec, I update the antivirus list with the free one regularly posted on majorgeeks. |
