My System: 1.0m dish
Astra 2D on multiswitch, Northern Germany.

I have a dedicated 100cm dish in mid-north Germany (Schwerin) and I also have it going in to a multiswitch from a quad LNB. I have a seperate dish with quad LNB for the German channels which are needed for the other flats they are feeding, but the Sky dish is just for our purposes. But the TV outlets in the house are wired up to the multiswitch, so I (preferably) must go through that.
I get some channels on Astra 2D but not the good ones. It has been suggested to me that they are on different transponders and are harder to receive, but I don't know what that means for me, apart from that I need to improve something to get them.
Would it help to get a different, single LNB for my sky dish ?
I don't understand why quads were used anyway, even if multiple sockets need to be fed. Doesn't the multi switch handle sending the seperate channels out ?
