My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

You need a Quattro LNB to feed most multiswitches, although there are a few around now which work with Quad LNBs (Germans seem to call Quattro LNBs Quads).

A single will not do, unless you are running it direct to your receiver.

Without knowing the spec of the multiswitch and what through loss it has, it is difficult to identify the propble.

For your location (East of Hamburg), a 1m dish should be OK, but the setting of the LNB will be crucial with Astra 2D.
