For her it's not about religion, or waiting for wedlock, but about waiting until it feels "right." This begins a relationship that is at once sexy, romantic, sometimes painful, and often hilarious, as Adam, Eve and all their friends wait for Eve to be ready. If you think virginity is not a laughing matter, think again.

While recovering from a tragic accident on the road, the patrolman Edward Malus receives a letter from his former fiancée Willow, who left him years ago without any explanation, telling that her daughter Rowan is missing. Edward travels to the private island of Summerisle, where Willow lives in an odd community that plant fruits, and she reveals that Rowan is actually their daughter. Along his investigation with the hostile and unhelpful dwellers, Edward discloses that the locals are pagans, practicing old rituals to improve their harvest, and Rowan is probably alive and being prepared to be sacrificed. When he locates the girl, he finds also the dark truth about the wicker man.

Holden Donovan is fed up with Principal Weller who goes to great lengths to stop the students from exercising their right to free expression. She expels a young woman for passing out condoms and advocating safe sex on national “safe sex” day and suspends two boys who were kissing in the hallway. Meanwhile, she is running for the Superintendent of their school district, which will give her a chance to practice her brand of administration beyond Booker High School. The students have an ally in Mr. Drucker, one of their teachers, who encourages them to fight for their rights. He pays a price for his leadership and is fired by Principal Weller. He decides to use his dismissal to make a change of his own, by producing a documentary chronicling the experiences of students who are faced with similar issues. Donovan befriends a group of kids including love interest Charlotte, Lawrence, Chuck, Walanda, Emily and Katie. Together they organize the student body to take on Weller and make real change at Booker High.

Soccer-loving Mark claims innocence - a complete coincidence - after all, what kind of man would lie to his new wife just to watch England play in a tournament? Gradually, Holly is forced to consider that perhaps her husband could be just such a man. Marks odd behaviour, their whirlwind romance and her fathers money (that paid for the trip) all begin to add to a terrible conclusion. The games intensify, the subterfuge deepens and cracks develop. Mark denies everything, but what has he done? How can he prove that he really loves her? The film captures the passion, drama and romance of an explosive match between the hilarious newlyweds playing the game of their lives. An international soccer cup competition, churches, beaches, castles, mountains and the winding streets of Lisbon, all play stadium to this whirlwind ride through beautiful Portugal.
