The worst final approach I ever had was skimming along the cliffs on final into Kefalonia.
50 feet above the cliffs with the plane rocking and rolling in the updraughts. A heavy landing than hard on the brakes. When the plane turned round we discovered its not a place to overshoot - If you go off the end of the runway theres a fence, then you have a small road then a 40 foot drop off a cliff onto a beach!
