6 wieres + 5 resistors of 100 ohms
ON printer connector short connect pin 18 to 25 and connect the last wire.
rest of the wieres connect the resistors and use the schematics placed on the RDI.
When You hit the connect simultaniously place the power to dream.

I've tried this method several times without any luck, even on an original DM500!
You are using the dm7000 dreamflash software correct?
Can you please provide us more details or some screenshots ?
